Joan, Ed, and Flat Sophia joined us in Amherst for Marissa's ballet recital yesterday. Marissa danced beautifully!! (as usual)

Ollie complains "not enough space on Nana's bed with her on it".

Nana's medical scare is over and she is out of the hospital.Whew!

Yesterday, she won at blackjack on casino day at her place. Although she claims she sat at the "stupid" table.

A Trip To NYC

Marissa may be permanently traumatized from riding the Metro and walking to Chelsea. The shell-shocked girl had apparently never seen the "real" NY. Just the fluffy stuff! Sorry Mariss!

This is how we brought in the new year. The animals shared a teeny tiny glass of champagne and as you can see, Burt and Ollie partied on. Next year, I think we'll get out of the house.

All of that partying proved to be too much for them.

Why is it that short people always feel the need to stand on chairs for photos? Is it that they think nobody will notice?

Ollie's Birthday!

Today, Ollie is two. Here he is with Marissa on the first day we brought the little fella home from the shelter. Isn't he just the cutest?

This is what happens when you leave your animal at our house for the week. My friend's bunny, Max, was perfectly normal when he arrived.

Snowstorm

It was beautiful when the sun was out. Ollie ran himself ragged with his ball on a rope toy. Flipping it in the air and racing across the backyard with it. I believe he thinks it's chasing him as it bounces behind him.

If a dog can portray pure joy...this is it. Tireless joy.

Shoveling is not pure joy.

A really big snow expected tomorrow night. Can't wait.
