Wow. All of the residents are confined to their rooms for now because the flu is making the rounds at the nursing home. Yesterday I spent two and a half hours engaged in conversation with these two. While a very cute pair, this makes my conversations with my pre-schoolers seem almost ... sensible. On my way out, I told my favorite nurse that I just had the most bizarre conversation. Her response was.. "Oh yeah? Stick around." *maniacal laugh*One must maintain a sense of humor with children, and people with dementia. I repeat, wow.
