We all flew out to Madison WI for Katelyn's Masters exhibition. We got a preview before it opened to the public. Kate's new work is absolutely phenomenal!

Laura's visit

During Laura's visit.. Burt, Marissa, Ollie and I went to Great Brook farm in Carlisle.

Baxter

Boston Marathon 08

We met up with Chris, Quinn, Robert, Paul, Joan and Michelle at heartbreak hill in Newton to watch the marathon. As it was Marissa's first time...I asked her what she thought and she replied.. "It was really fun for the first hour or two ..even three hours". We totally missed Lance Armstrong. He ran right by us and we didn't see him. The whole event was totally inspiring as we moseyed back to our car to go out to lunch.

Sunday Morning

A lazy Sunday morning during spring vacation. Ollie and Marissa hanging out on the floor, until things suddenly turn ugly.

Another Family Wedding!!

My brother Gerry's son, Ian, married his long time love, Ewa (pronounced Eva) on February 29th! This is a great kid with TONS of personality and an infectious smile. We wish both of them the best of luck and a happy future!!!!
*Interesting...I was watching some old home movies recently and did note that Ian sounded very much like Kermit the frog when he was little.=)Hmm.. Hopefully, Ewa is good with that.

Portrait Of A Hybrid

An artist that we met at Nana's place in Weston, fell in love with Ollie...mainly because he hugged her, and offered to paint him. We love it! We are thinking of making the painting a new baby gift for someone special, for their nursery. We want that baby to be exposed to beauty from the very start.

More amazingly adorable sleeping animals-)

Some people are not blessed with animals that continually interact with each other in an irresistibly adorable manner. I've heard that Tyngsboro is full of those people. Sad, really.

Joan, Ed, and Flat Sophia joined us in Amherst for Marissa's ballet recital yesterday. Marissa danced beautifully!! (as usual)

Ollie complains "not enough space on Nana's bed with her on it".

Nana's medical scare is over and she is out of the hospital.Whew!

Yesterday, she won at blackjack on casino day at her place. Although she claims she sat at the "stupid" table.

A Trip To NYC

Marissa may be permanently traumatized from riding the Metro and walking to Chelsea. The shell-shocked girl had apparently never seen the "real" NY. Just the fluffy stuff! Sorry Mariss!

Happy 2008!

This is how we brought in the new year. The animals shared a teeny tiny glass of champagne and as you can see, Burt and Ollie partied on. Next year, I think we'll get out of the house.

All of that partying proved to be too much for them.
